What we developed & how did we do it

An extensive UX Study was conducted over a period of 6 months by visiting tribal, rural and urban areas in Gujarat & Uttar Pradesh, India with 100+ participants in face to face interviews, observational studies and also live design testing.

We built high fidelity design prototypes to showcase flows to ICDS IAS Officers and WCD Commissioners in face to face meetings and seek active feedback to build a design that works for all.

A tech stack and architecture was chosen to serve long term needs, especially for robust reporting and dashboarding both in the app and as web dashboards for the ministry.

Launched by the Honorable Chief Minister of UP, Sh. Yoginath Ji. The app has been successfully rolled out to thousands of users.

How we did it

  • Multiple Agile squads were setup to deliver the app and dashboards for the 2 states.
  • DevOps pipelines were setup for faster deployments and enterprise class security
  • CERT-IN Security audit and certification were performed for Android applications and APIs.
  • Apps were continually iterated on over 6-8 months in multiple cycles to ensure ease of use and continual feedback loop.
  • Dashboards were designed and iterated on with senior govt. departments for ensuring its sustainable and all data needs are met for effective decision making.
